Women’s Movement & Wellness Day

An essential day for women to move, nourish, learn and relax.

Join Move into Wellness for a wonderful day of movement sessions and workshops/talks for women approaching mid life and beyond. A wonderful day to take time out for yourself, move, nourish, learn and relax with like minded women. As we move towards midlife and beyond it’s vital to ensure you’re doing the right exercise for heart, bone and mental health. It’s also a time to ensure we nourish our bodies with the right foods and take time out to relax and recharge to avoid the huge impact of stress.

Claire Darlow, the owner of Move into Wellness, is a leading Pilates teacher and Women’s Wellness Coach, who will lead all the practical movement sessions to help you understand the best exercise for you as a women and also the changes occurring in our bodies and strategies to help with those.

Claire is delighted to be joined by Kal Ratcliffe, a registered Nutritional Therapist & Gut Health Specialist BSc, mBANT, CNHC. Kal will deliver a workshop covering life enhancing and accessible information with practical advice on which foods to eat for optimal health and vitality. The workshop will also cover the importance of protein in mid life and how to balance your blood sugar levels for sustained energy and better mood.

Also joining us for the day is Shannon O’Donnell from Wild Meadow Therapies. Shannon is a Massage Therapist and Facialist. Shannon will be guiding you through a therapeutic self massage experience showing you how the power of touch can help soothe your nervous system, reduce stress and act as a mindful self care practice.

£85 per person to include a welcome juice shot, light nutritious lunch, tea & coffee and cake along with a goodie bag.

Below is an outline schedule for the day, which will be confirmed via email a week before the event to all attendees.

12.30 – 13.00 Wellness Walk

13.00 – 14.00 Lunch and relax

14.00 – 14.30 Movement session with Claire/Workshop with Shannon

14.35 – 15.05 Movement session with Claire/Workshop with Shannon

15.10 – 15.50 Restorative movement and relaxation with Claire

15.55 – 16.30 Tea, coffee and cake and round up

Full payment required on booking and no refunds given for cancellations or no shows. Spaces can be transferred to someone else in the event you can’t attend, but the new attendee will need to complete the registration form.
