“I’d class myself as quite a sporty person, but had never heard of Pilates. So off I went with my friend to a ‘trial’ session – well that was it – hooked. Why!!!!  It was restful, structured, composed and very disciplined. Claire is such a delightful, captivating, calm, patient, reassuring and pleasant instructor. I have gained so much control over my body movements its amazing. My flexibility has improved and I have increased muscle strength and tone – especially my abdominals. Because it is a low impact there is less risk of injury which is an aspect I’m very happy with.


“I started with Claire when she first started her classes in at the church rooms Berkeley street, it was the best thing I have done, as an older lady I wanted to tone but more so keep flexible, I am a cleaner and very active but was starting to have a problem with my hip as in pain when being on my feet for a few hours, since doing Pilates I have no pain. I hate missing my class and look forward to it so much. Claire is a brilliant teacher, so normal and down to earth, is always encouraging and helpful in a gentle way so you never feel inadequate if you can’t manage something.”

She has let me progress at my own pace although she does give you that little nudge to help you improve. Her ability to adjust to the current situation has been amazing.

After attending and enjoying Claire’s weekly classes for a couple of months we went into lockdown, however I have continued by using her online Zoom classes. “Claire is an amazing Pilates teacher,  the classes are varied and there are options for all abilities. Claire offers corrections to us to ensure we are doing the exercises in a safe way and offers support before, during and after the class.
